River Rep is educating the next generation of theater artists, offering after school drama programs to schools and arts organizations in the Sullivan Catskills region. Classes include:

MUSICAL THEATER & ACTING (grades 5-12)

Acting classes can play an essential role in building self-esteem and self-confidence in kids. Starting with fun-filled games, students learn core principles of acting as they rehearse a song, monologue or scene from a popular play or musical. Finished scenes are then strung together into a short program and performed for family and friends, on the last day of class. 

INTERSHIPS (grades 7-12)

Students get hands-on production experience working alongside River Rep artists, learning lights, costume, set, and sound design.
